Structural Drying
IICRC-certified structural drying with daily moisture monitoring and real-time portal tracking for Metro Atlanta homeowners.
What Is Structural Drying?
After water extraction, structural drying is what prevents secondary damage like mold growth, warping, and structural deterioration. We use commercial-grade LGR dehumidifiers, high-velocity air movers, and in some cases desiccant dehumidifiers to bring your property back to dry standard. Daily moisture readings track progress, and you can monitor everything through your client portal.
When You Need It
After any water damage event where materials (drywall, wood, carpet, concrete) have absorbed moisture. Even if standing water has been removed, trapped moisture in building materials will cause ongoing damage without professional drying.
Our Process
Moisture Mapping
We map moisture levels in every affected material — walls, floors, ceilings — to create a drying plan.
Equipment Placement
LGR dehumidifiers and air movers are strategically placed for maximum airflow and moisture removal.
Daily Monitoring
A technician visits daily to take moisture readings and adjust equipment placement as needed.
Progress Tracking
All readings are logged in your client portal. You can see the drying curve in real time.
Dry Standard Verification
Final readings confirm all materials are at or below dry standard. Equipment is removed and the job is complete.
Insurance Coverage
Structural drying is a standard part of water damage restoration claims. Insurance typically covers equipment rental and daily monitoring for the duration needed to reach dry standard.

How long does structural drying take?
Typically 3-5 days for most residential water damage. Severity, materials affected, and ambient conditions can extend this to 7+ days for complex situations.
Are the machines loud?
Yes — dehumidifiers and air movers produce constant noise. We provide guidance on managing noise during the drying period and can adjust equipment schedules when possible.
Can I stay in my home during drying?
In most cases, yes. Affected rooms may be inaccessible, but you can typically remain in unaffected areas of your home. We work to minimize disruption.
How will I know when it is done?
Moisture readings must reach dry standard (typically within 2-3% of baseline for the material type). We share progress daily through your client portal.
